The Monterey-Salinas Highway, also known as the Highway 68 Corridor, has been used to travel between the Salinas Valley and the Monterey Peninsula since the Spanish Colonial era when it was part of the DeAnza Mission Trail. Highway 68 has been designated as a California State Scenic Highway.

The corridor begins at Scenic California Highway One in Monterey and traverses 17 miles of lush greenbelt until reaching it's end at S.
